September 30, 2024 - The Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Monday, to determine the local selling prices of oil derivatives for the period from (October 1-31).

The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and oil derivatives during the month of September and compared them with their counterparts for last August, as global price rates showed a decrease in the prices of gasoline of both types (90 and 95) and diesel during the current month of September.

After applying the price equation according to global prices on all oil derivatives, the committee found a decrease in the price of gasoline 90 by (25) fils/liter, a decrease in the price of gasoline 95 by (30) fils/liter, and a decrease in the price of diesel by (40) fils/liter.

Accordingly, the Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee decided to reduce the selling price of 90-octane gasoline to (860) fils/liter instead of (885) fils/liter, reduce the selling price of 95-octane gasoline to (1095) fils/liter instead of (1125) fils/liter, reduce the selling price of diesel to (655) fils/liter instead of (695) fils/liter, continue to fix the selling price of kerosene at 620 fils/liter, and maintain the selling price of a domestic gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at 7 dinars/cylinder.
