August 3, 2024_ Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, today, Saturday, during his visit to the Hamza oil field site in the Azraq region, reviewed the progress of work in the operations to increase the depths of the two wells Hamza 18 and Hamza 19, and supervised the well inspection operations carried out by the ministry in cooperation with a specialized company in the field with the aim of increasing production from the field.

Al-Kharabsheh also reviewed, on the sidelines of the visit, the work carried out to renew the oil collection tanks in the field, as these tanks were established in 1986 and the renovation operations aim to ensure and sustain their work.

Regarding the importance of the visit, Director of Natural Resources Projects, Bahjat Al-Adwan, said while accompanying Minister Al-Kharabsheh that it came to review the achievements carried out in the field and follow up on the work, explaining that the ministry is currently working on drilling a new well in the region.
