21May 2026 – The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources launched today, Thursday, its awareness campaign on energy conservation under the slogan “A Wiser Generation, More Efficient Energy, a Stronger Jordan”, coinciding with the Arab Energy Efficiency Day, observed annually on 21 May.

This campaign aligns with the Ministry’s strategic objective of improving energy efficiency across various sectors by raising awareness of the importance of energy conservation and promoting a culture of optimal energy use among members of society.

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to engaging all segments of society, particularly youth and university students throughout the Kingdom, as they are the builders of the future and key partners in spreading awareness and achieving sustainability.

The campaign includes a range of awareness-raising activities, such as designing and distributing educational materials across all governorates of the Kingdom, broadcasting awareness messages through local radio stations and university radio channels, dedicating Friday sermons to highlighting the importance of energy conservation, and conducting outreach through news websites and social media platforms.

Through this campaign, the Ministry aims to encourage positive energy-efficiency practices that contribute to supporting the national economy and preserving resources and energy for future generations.
