May 12, 2025 – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, chaired a periodic meeting on Monday to review the progress of initiatives and priorities related to the implementation of the Second Executive Program of Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision (2023–2033) in the energy and mining sectors, with the participation of liaison officers from the relevant institutions.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the achievement rates and progress made in the projects and activities included in the Vision’s Executive Program, as well as the implementation measures associated with initiatives aimed at developing the energy and mining sectors and enhancing their contribution to supporting the national economy.
Dr. Al-Kharabsheh emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts and maintaining momentum to achieve the Vision’s objectives, particularly in the areas of expanding the use of clean energy, improving the efficiency of the electricity system, reducing energy costs, and strengthening environmental sustainability practices.
The Minister also stressed the need to enhance coordination and cooperation between the Ministry and all relevant stakeholders and to accelerate the implementation of priorities in accordance with the approved timelines, ensuring the achievement of the desired goals under the Economic Modernization Vision.
