30 September 2025
The Fuel Pricing Committee convened its monthly meeting today, Tuesday, to determine the prices of petroleum products in the local market for the period from 1–31 October 2025.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed global prices of crude oil and petroleum derivatives for September and compared them with those of August. The review showed a slight increase in the global average prices of gasoline (both 90 and 95 octane) and diesel during September.
After applying the approved pricing formula based on global price trends, the committee found an increase of 5 fils per liter for gasoline 90, 5 fils per liter for gasoline 95, and 10 fils per liter for diesel.
Accordingly, the committee decided to adjust local selling prices as follows:
- Gasoline 90 Octane: 855 fils/liter (up from 850 fils/liter)
- Gasoline 95 Octane: 1,080 fils/liter (up from 1,075 fils/liter)
- Diesel: 685 fils/liter (up from 675 fils/liter)
Meanwhile, the committee decided to maintain the price of kerosene at 620 fils/liter, and to keep the price of the 12.5 kg household gas cylinder fixed at 7 Jordanian dinars per cylinder.
It is noteworthy that the average price of Brent crude oil during September 2025 was around $68 per barrel, compared to an average of $68.2 per barrel in August.
