December 1, 2025 - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources announced today, Monday, the completion of an external audit conducted by SGS. The audit aimed to enhance quality control procedures and ensure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, to maintain the Ministry's accreditation for quality control according to the international standard.

During a meeting with a representative from SGS, attended by several ministry employees, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh AL-Kharabsheh, emphasized the Ministry's commitment to continuous improving quality control procedures to enhance performance efficiency across all operations. He urged employees to follow a work plan to capitalize on opportunities for improvement, address any challenges, and continuously monitor performance indicators. This aims to raise operational efficiency and achieve the highest standards of governance and transparent management.

This external audit reflects the Ministry's commitment to improve and develop the quality of services provided to its clients, reinforce the principles of transparency and accountability. The external audit included a review of the administrative processes of a number of directorates and organizational units in the ministry, working to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement, and proposing appropriate solutions to ensure the optimal use of available resources.
