November 5, 2025 – The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has concluded a specialized training course titled “Validation and Verification of Testing Methods for Laboratory Examinations,” designed for employees of the Ministry’s Directorate of Laboratories and delivered by Shahir Al-Shibli from the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization.
The course aimed to enhance participants’ capabilities in understanding laboratory accreditation requirements and familiarizing them with the procedures and mechanisms for validating and verifying laboratory testing methods, based on the latest international standards and best practices. These elements are considered fundamental pillars for ensuring the quality of technical test results and improving laboratory performance.
The training program included theoretical lectures and practical applications focusing on global concepts and standards related to laboratory accreditation, along with assessment exercises to measure participants’ comprehension of accreditation and quality assurance concepts.
This course comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to develop the technical skills of its personnel involved in providing testing services and to enhance the readiness of its laboratories to implement best-practice methodologies in testing and analysis—supporting its mission to achieve the highest levels of accuracy and reliability in laboratory test results.
