15 September - Within the activities of Digital Empowerment Month, an awareness workshop was held entitled “Data and Its Role in Supporting Digital Transformation and Decision-Making”, with the aim of enhancing awareness of the importance of data as one of the basic pillars of digital transformation, and its role in improving institutional performance, supporting decision-making, and raising the quality of services.
The workshop hosted a team from the Prime Ministry/Digital Transformation Unit, represented by Engineer Abdullah Al-Momani, and with the participation of Engineer Shurooq Al-Fuqaha from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, where the most prominent concepts and practices related to data were reviewed, and emphasis was placed on the importance of its accuracy and quality in providing reliable information that contributes to making more effective decisions.
The workshop affirmed that digital empowerment is not limited to the use of technologies and digital tools, but begins from awareness and knowledge and good management of data and its employment, and converting it into valuable information that supports the decision-making process, and contributes to improving performance and achieving a tangible impact in institutional work.
This workshop comes within a series of activities of Digital Empowerment Month, aimed at enhancing awareness, knowledge and digital skills, and consolidating practices that contribute to supporting the digital transformation process in government institutions.
