The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and Specto, organized on Sunday a specialized workshop as part of the 2025 Artificial Intelligence Awareness Project. The workshop aimed to enhance the use of AI applications across various administrative levels in the Ministry, in line with the implementation of the Jordanian Artificial Intelligence Strategy and its Executive Plan (2023–2027).

The project seeks to develop the capacities of the Ministry’s human resources and improve their efficiency in using AI technologies, contributing to the digital transformation of government services and improved institutional performance.

The workshop was delivered by Professor Ahmad Abu Al-Heija from Specto, who discussed AI concepts and their practical applications in the public sector, highlighting the role of these technologies in promoting innovation and improving efficiency. He also praised the Ministry’s efforts in building the digital capabilities of its staff.

Organizing this workshop reflects the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ commitment to adopting the latest digital technologies and enhancing staff readiness, in line with the government’s direction toward digital transformation and the development of public services.
