July 31, 2024 - The Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Wednesday, to determine the local selling prices of oil derivatives for the period from (August 1-31).
The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and oil derivatives during the month of July and compared them with their counterparts for last June, as global price rates showed an increase in the prices of gasoline of both types (90 and 95) and diesel during the month of July.
After applying the price equation according to global prices on all oil derivatives, it was found that the price of gasoline 90 increased by (20) fils/liter, the price of gasoline 95 increased by (20) fils/liter, and the price of diesel increased by (10) fils/liter.
Accordingly, the Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee decided to raise the selling price of 90-octane gasoline to become (920) fils/liter instead of (900) fils/liter, and to raise the selling price of 95-octane gasoline to become (1160) fils/liter instead of (1140) fils/liter, and to raise the selling price of diesel to become (715) fils/liter instead of (705) fils/liter, and to continue to fix the selling price of kerosene at 620 fils/liter, and to keep the selling price of a domestic gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at 7 dinars/cylinder.
