January 16, 2025 – The Excellence in Promoting Renewable Energy Award honored the head of the Social Responsibility Division at the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund, affiliated with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Engineer Basma Al-Shatti, for her dedicated efforts in promoting and advocating for solar energy.

Al-Shatti was honored during the Middle East Future Energy Leaders Summit 2025, organized by "SolarQuarter" on the sidelines of the World Future Energy Summit, part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025, held in Abu Dhabi from January 12 to 18.
