The lecture was presented by Ms. Diana Al-Qaisi, Director of the Beneficiaries and Insurance Services Department at the Social Security Corporation.
During the lecture, Ms. Al-Qaisi outlined the insurance benefits available to employees covered under the Social Security Law in both the public and private sectors. She explained the mechanisms for applying for and utilizing these benefits, particularly those related to workplace injuries and unemployment.
Ms. Al-Qaisi emphasized that the insurance benefits stipulated in the law are "solidarity-based," ensuring fairness for all covered individuals and sustainability for future generations.
She also explained that the corporation, through its Beneficiaries and Insurance Services Department, works to balance the provision of these benefits in alignment with the Social Security Law and its amendments. This approach aims to empower employees under social security to benefit from these provisions, thereby ensuring a dignified life.
The lecture included an in-depth explanation of the conditions and details related to work injury insurance, retirement pensions, early retirement, maternity insurance, and other benefits.
Ms. Al-Qaisi highlighted that the package of insurance benefits offered by the corporation is continually evolving and being updated to adapt to various factors, including average wages, minimum wage thresholds, population growth rates, inflation rates, and more.
She concluded by encouraging employees to gain a deeper understanding of these insurance benefits and to take full advantage of them.
