January 31, 2025 – The Fuel Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Friday, to determine the local selling prices of petroleum derivatives for the period from February 1 to February 28.

The committee reviewed global crude oil and petroleum product prices during January and compared them to those of December. The analysis showed an increase in global petroleum product prices in January.

After applying the pricing formula based on global prices for all petroleum products, the committee found that the price of Octane 90 gasoline increased by 15 fils per liter, Octane 95 gasoline increased by 10 fils per liter, and diesel increased by 30 fils per liter.

Accordingly, the committee decided to raise the price of Octane 90 gasoline to 885 fils per liter (up from 870 fils per liter), Octane 95 gasoline to 1,110 fils per liter (up from 1,100 fils per liter), and diesel to 720 fils per liter (up from 690 fils per liter).

Additionally, the committee decided to maintain the price of kerosene at 620 fils per liter for February and keep the price of the household gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at 7 dinars per cylinder.
