Fuel Prices for Gasoline 90, 95, and Diesel for December

Price table

November 30, 2024 – The Fuel Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Saturday, to determine the local selling prices of petroleum derivatives for the period from December 1 to December 31. During the meeting, the committee reviewed global prices for crude oil and petroleum derivatives in November and compared them with October. The review showed a slight decrease in global prices for both types of gasoline (90 and 95) and a slight increase in diesel prices during November.

After applying the pricing formula based on global prices to all petroleum derivatives, the committee found a decrease of 5 fils per liter for gasoline 90 and 95 and an increase of 5 fils per liter for diesel.

Accordingly, the Fuel Pricing Committee decided to adjust the selling price of gasoline octane 90 to 860 fils per liter instead of 865 fils per liter, and the price of gasoline octane 95 to 1,105 fils per liter instead of 1,110 fils per liter. The price of diesel was raised to 680 fils per liter from 675 fils per liter. Meanwhile, the price of kerosene remains fixed at 620 fils per liter and the price of the household gas cylinder (12.5 kg) remains at 7 dinars per cylinder.

It is worth noting that the average price of Brent crude oil during November was approximately $74.5 per barrel, compared to its average price in October, which was about $75.8 per barrel.
