July 28, 2025 – The Knowledge Management and Innovation Department at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources held a specialized workshop titled "Data Center of the Future", in cooperation with Schneider Electric – Jordan, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to promote innovation and develop the digital infrastructure supporting the sector.

The workshop was presented by Eng. Hazem Al-Nabber, Data Center Sales Expert at Schneider Electric, who showcased the latest global technologies in the field of data centers. He highlighted modern design trends related to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, as well as the requirements of data centers in terms of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and cooling solutions.

The workshop was attended by a number of experts, specialists, and representatives from relevant institutions and companies, aiming to exchange expertise and discuss modern solutions that address the sector’s evolving needs.

This workshop aligns with the Ministry’s vision to stay abreast of global technological developments and enhance the capabilities of its staff in the areas of digital transformation and data management, thereby improving operational efficiency and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals in the energy and mineral resources sector.
