March 26, 2025 - Under the patronage of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Eng. Amani Al-Azzam, the Ministry's Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility Committee held a charity iftar ceremony on Wednesday for a group of orphaned children, with the participation of ministry employees and their families.

The iftar included a variety of performances, including traditional songs and dabke, as well as performances such as clown dancing, physical games, and a balloon-releasing activity.

The committee's chairman, Geologist Bahjat Al-Adwan, appreciated the Ministry's support for the event and thanked the committee employees for their efforts in implementing it.

The iftar was preceded by an event to distribute Eid clothes to the children. The committee annually organizes several activities during the holy month of Ramadan to strengthen ties among community groups, especially orphaned children.
