Locations

• Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Conditions

• Security approval issued by Ministry of Interior.
• Regulatory approval on the proposed site issued by the competent authorities.

Required documents

• Facility's certificate of registration.
• Summary of economic feasibility study of the project
• Summary of technical study of the project includes the following:

• Description of the project productive units.
• Project components.
• Project location.
• Investment volume.
• Techniques intended to be used.
• Sites and constructions primary plans.
• Raw materials to be used in the production processes.

• Study of evaluating the environment effect approved by Ministry of Environment.
• Coordinates of the plot in the Palestine Square.
• Presenting agreement concluded with the landfill owner entity (wastes supplier).
• Presenting new deed of registration for the plot, on which the facility is intended to be established or site lease contract.
• Official letter addressed to the Ministry by the applicant.

Procedures of rendering the service

1. Referring the letter addressed to the ministry to Directorate of Renewable Energy and Energy Rationalization/division of environment and energy.
2. Providing the applicant with copy of the instructions  of regulating the activities of the industrial fuel.
3. The technical committee (formed from Ministry of Energy and herein-under mentioned partners) shall study the request presented to the ministry in relation to producing the industrial fuel material and shall study all documents attached to the request including the economic and technical studies.
4. Informing the applicant of the approving or rejecting his application.
5. After the applicant procures the initial approval on his application and after providing the ministry with all documents existing in clause of the required conditions above, the permit shall be granted.
6. Beginning in constructing the facility within three months as of date of procuring the permit.

Time taken for executing the service

Time period not more than one month for granting the initial approval after completing the required documents and beginning in constructing the facility within period not more than six months as of granting the permit.
