January 30, 2025 - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, chaired today, Thursday, the periodic meeting to follow up the progress of work in implementing the priorities and initiatives included in the Economic Modernization Vision 2023-2033 for the energy and mining sectors, in the presence of liaison officers of the relevant sector institutions.

During the meeting, the liaison officers of the Economic Modernization Vision reviewed what has been accomplished in the energy and mining sectors for the month of January 2025, and emphasized following up on the achievement of all activities included in the priorities to achieve the goals of the modernization vision in line with the vision's executive program.

Al-Kharabsheh stressed the continuity of work to implement work programs related to the transition to the use of clean energy, reducing energy costs, working on environmental sustainability, and enhancing and improving the electrical system to achieve the goals of the executive program for the year 2025.

The Minister stressed on continuing the communication with the parties concerned on implementing the priorities of the Economic Modernization Vision, following up on the work, and implementing rapidly the steps specified in the priorities required to be completed by the liaison officers of the relevant sector institutions, in partnership with the Ministry to ensure the progress of work in the required manner.
