April 30, 2025 – The Fuel Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Wednesday, to determine the local selling prices of petroleum derivatives for the period (May 1–31).

The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and petroleum derivatives during the month of April and compared them with those of March.

After applying the pricing formula to the petroleum derivatives for the current month of May, the prices of gasoline (both 90 and 95 octane) and diesel showed a decrease of 15 fils/liter each.

Accordingly, the Fuel Pricing Committee decided to reduce the price of 90-octane gasoline to 845 fils/liter instead of 860 fils/liter, and the price of 95-octane gasoline to 1070 fils/liter instead of 1085 fils/liter. The
